NEC has moved up the ladder in the OLTP database performace fray .. NEC holds number 2 postion for non-clustered systems behind a huge mainframe from Fujitsu..
And the sweet part is the low cost per transaction standing at $12 where as the mainframe costs a hefty $28 / transaction ..
