Hi
I have a part built win 2k domain. i have been testing it and have found out that users can go into network neighbourhood and delete the shared folder or the contents. I've tried a number of different ways and some stop the deletion but then dont allow any access. Does anyone have any links to faqs, helpfiles or can anyone give me any advice. I cant have people deleting the back end of my database ut they have to have access and be able to change/update the data.
regards
dan

u can do it by setting up the deny properties of a folder
here is how u can do that
goto the security tab of the folder
click advanced select view/edit
thenselect apply onto this folder subfolder & files
then select the deny checkboxes besids the delete folder etc. and delete
hope this would help
