Welp, the trial version of 2003 was a big let down. I kept receiving the error message "security settings tampered with, must restart to...". After restarting, got same message. Symantec's knowledge base told me to edit the registry. Did so. Still got same error message. Kept restarting my system without asking. Had to beat the clock, stopped Norton service right off the bat and then uninstalled. What a big pain. Anyone know a way to stop Norton from doing this? I would like to re-install, just because of familiarity with Norton, but afraidthis will happen again. Anyone else have this problem?
