I hate 7.5 !!!!!

Just finished upgrade to 7.5 from release 5.5
System is a CS1000E with 2 COTS servers (HP DL360G7 Servers)

Everything seems to have gone relatively well however to my horror my Primary Security Server shuts off by itself every 1- 2.5 hours.I check the logs to see what happens but it basically seems to simply go off line and ends up in a standby state. My backup server takes over thank god! I have checked the various Avaya logs and nothing stands out. Not sure where to look exactly in the Linux portion other than TCPDump. Sure seems to be hardware related and I have a spare COT at my disposal. I will change out the server but having a tough time finding a proper sequence of events.Thought I read it in one of the NTP's but cannot find it again.

Since this is the Primary UCM for the domain if I rebuild the spare with the same info as the original should I not be able to install it in a similar fashion as a new install ? Prior to implementation I would de-register the VXWorks Server and the registered components from the existing security domain (while the original Security Server is working)Once de-registered I would power down the flaky Primary Security Server and replace it with the new one. Upon power up it would hopefully establish a PBX link where I could then login into the Backup Server locally and have it join the new UCM domain. Probably need to regenerate FTP tokens and also re-register the PBX and components.

Any thoughts would be appreciated regarding the proposed procedure or possibly ideas regarding the HP server hardware.

FYI

Solved issue by changing original hard drives and putting them into spare COTS chassis. All is well.

Issue was with original COTS Server chassis
