Hey guys, I'm sort of in a rush because I setup an Active Directory in Windows 2003 server for 100 users. On the root of the Domain Controller I have everyones personal folder so it is C:\Domain\Users\Group1. Now the Group1 users can access the Group1 folder just fine as the Share/Permissions are set to Allow All for that group. The problem is I cannot get them to acccess subfolders like \Users\Group1\MyDrive . They can access MyDrive but any files within are locked out because permissions are not propogating to subfolders of subfolders. The subfolders do not inherit from the main Group1 folders. And I think I messed up somewhere within these subfolders because if I check there security settings it's just blank!

I'm in urgent need of a resolution. Thank you in advance.

on the security tab, click the advanced button at the bottom. There is a checkbox that says "replace permissions on all child objects"....that will do the trick.
