Dear all,

If I'm connected to wireless network (External network, direct internet facing) and I'm also plugged on to local LAN via ethernet cable, would this cause any security issue? That is to say, people can connect to my local lan via wireless network into my local LAN? Or, in another words, if were to use GPRS or 3G network to connect to internet directly and also connect to local LAN, other 3rd party guys can access my local LAN?

No bridging needs to be done and non-authorised external people can access my local network freely? How to prevent this? Using local firewall policies at the LOCAL LAN zone?

Pls advise. thks.

Rgds,

Just ensure you have WPA security enabled, with a good long password/ key, on the Wireless connections.
