Does anyone know how much it costs to get an employee a TS/SCI security clearance.

I've always heard $10,000 for a Top Secret. Going to SCI or CodeWord/SIOP/CNWDI would be much much more.

I don't have any direct knowledge of the subject myself. But, I know someone who works in government security. The explanation I got is that it doesn't cost anything to get a security clearance. You have to either work for the government or be working on a government contract to get one. If either of those is true, there's a form (SF58 I think she said) that you're company/agency needs to submit to apply for it.
