Our security guy is in the process of locking down one of our servers. The server is now behind a firewall and I can no longer use the arcserve manager on my desktop to remotely monitor this server. He noticed that when Arcserve makes a connection it does not seem to use the same port each time. It will use one port when it hits the firewall, then when I enter in the credentials it tries to authenticate through another port causing access errors.

Question: Is it possible to configure Arcserve to only communicate through specific ports?

Thanks for any thoughts!
