Good day out there
I have an ASP server and an Apache server that have static live IP Addresses, My company uses them to proof websites etc. At the moment the only way to get the data on the server is by file transfer protocol. The servers are at my physical location connected to the same Cisco 800 Router that is connected to my LAN running 10.0.0.1 range adresses and I would like to be able to connect to these boxes over ethernet with normal file copy, it takes too long to ftp and is wasting bandwidth. Is it possible to configure these two Servers with LAN IP's by inserting extra network cards and how do i configure the router to ensure that my Servers remains secure while still being viewable on the network from the LAN?? any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, feel like slowly drowning in a very deep ocean over here!!
