Securemote and Direcway

Does anyone know how to configure Direcway to work with securemote and Win 2k?

Direcway satellite service is installed and working and I installed securemote on my computer. Upon reboot Direcway will not start due to a Network adapter problem. If I uninstall securemote the problem goes away.

I have seen a document on the web from 2001 with a registry hack but I am assuming the software has changed since then as I can not find the path listed in the hack.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
