Why do I getting the message "secondary IDE channel no 80 conductor cable installed" when I starting my computer?
This started to appear after I have connected my new DVD writer to my secondary IDE cable. Any suggetion please?
(My DVD writer is "Gigabyte GO-W1616A")
Your DVD writer can run at a faster speed if an 80 conductor cable were used. The computer is simply telling you this. Install a new cable or put up with the message.
