When I place a second table below another, it jumps up to the right of the first table when viewed in both IE and NS.
and
don't seem to do the trick. Neither does an invisible pix gif placed after the first table. I even tried nesting the two tables inside another table. The second table still jumps over to the right instead of stacking underneath the first. Any idea? Thanks.

yep

start again

I've had this probelm in dreamweaver, never found the cause, rebuilt the page and it didn't happen.

Thanks, Nippi
That's what I did to solve the problem. I'm glad to hear it has happened to someone else and I'm not crazy after all.

Hi

Try creating a new table with 1 column and 2 rows. Then paste table 1 in top row and table 2 in bottom row. this will certainly keep them from aligning sideways and force them to stack.
