searching for a record

what is the easiest way to search for a record usinf the primary key in a form

On the swtichboard i have a button that allows users to open a new form or another button for exsisting records

When the existing records form opens i would like the user to be able to either enter the id number or do a seach

Have you tried using the combo box wizard to "Find a record on my form based on the value I selected in my combo box" ??

Simple and very flexible.
