Searching Database from Intranet

Can anyone tell me how I could search a notes database from a web page. I can get to the databse ok and view everything but I want to search on keywords.

As far as I know, you can't unless the developer of that DB set up search functionality in it. If it doesn't exist in the DB, you can't do it via the web.

I had to have DB admin set up indexing on the database than it worked fine.
