I have installed Unicenter service desk 6.0 on win2k platform.
I want to populate the total number of open & closed request,change order,incident & so on ..
when i am searching thro' the CI List. (Configuration Item List)
The steps which i had followed for the above problem :
1. Create new request/Change order/incident , & select any CI.
2. Go to Search option & select Configuration Item List
3. Click on search , the CI List having some headers like #REQ,#INC,#CHG
4. If any request/incident/change order is opened against any CI. I can see the total number of request,change order or incident.
5. But if i closed any request/incident , the closed request are not getting counted for #REQ column , which is not the case for change order.
6. I can see the total no. of #CHG (which are open & closed also)
7. I want total no. of #REQ (which are open & closed also)
I figure out that when a new request is generated , the flag set as 1.
& if gets closed its set to 0 again.
The same functionality is also used by CHG , then why #REQ is not having closed & open request count?
