Is there a way to search (find - Ctrl F) all of the sheets in an Excel spreadsheet at once. Ctrl F only searchs the current sheet. Thanks

Mansell

Select all the sheets first.

Click the first sheet tab, hold down Control, then click each subsequent tab. This should also work by clicking the first sheet's tab, holding down Shift, and then clicking the last sheet's tab.

Then, do a Ctrl+F.

A pirate walks into a bar with a huge ship's steering wheel down his pants.
The bartender asks, "Are you aware that you have a steering wheel down your pants?"
The pirate replies, "Arrrrr! It's driving me nuts!

In later versions (at least 2002 on, not sure about 2000) you have the option to change the search area from worksheet to workbook.
