Hi,
I would like to search the AD and all objects from my desktop. I found a tip/trick out there instructing me to create a shortcut as the following:
%SystemRoot%\SYSTEM32\rundll32.exe dsquery,OpenQueryWindow
Now, I created this shortcut, and it works in the sense that double-clicking on it will pull up the FIND window, I can then enter the search criteria im looking for.
My problem is, when viewing an object I searched for, all the TABS (member of, dial in etc) are not available, only general, address and business.
When i launch my AD-Users & Computers, and perform a search from there, going into the object shows me all the tabs..
Any suggestions.. I wanted to have this quick-find feature on my desktop allowing me to search AD without actually launching the AD tools.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
