Search Engine Code

Evening Folk ...

can anyone direct me to a template or sample code to create a Search Engine to access a SQL Server database. the DB we are using is MS SQL Server 2000. we are using Cold Fusion 5, but a version that runs on 4.5 would be great too.

CF comes with its own search engine, a scaled down verison of Verity. I am using it on an intranet, and it seems to work fine. If you don't have the docs on it, check Macromedia's website. Calista :-X

Yes, Verity should do it for you.

If you want a head start there is a complete verity app with an example database available here. (Fusbox 3 style)

Verity can not work with all the foreign languages...
