search brings up download window

I created simple search and results pages. All seems fine with the search page, but when I key in a name to search - a "file download" window appears.

Where have I gone wrong???

I've put the files in a directory under the

http://wwwroot

- with scripts enabled.

uhm...usually is because application server doesn't recognize the page as an asp page. How you named it? If you launch it directly what happens? You're using PWS or what? Stevie B. Gibson

Sorry for being vague. I'm using pws with win ME. If I launch it directly dreamweaver opens.

Any ideas?

... and is named with an asp extension
