Often, when I search the AD for a user, I need to know what OU that the user resides in. When I double click the username that I had done a search on and found in the AD there is nothing I can see that can inform me of what OU that the found user is in.

Any one have an answer for this annoyance?

Thanks!!

When you double click the user object it brings up the properties for the object. Look at the Object tab and it will tell you where the user is located in AD.

Hope this helps,

I just found my own answer. While in the management console, click view, then check advanced features.

Thanks again.
