search across multiple lines of a file

I have files that have a line with an entry for an "Author" (the word "Author" followed by a space, followed by the author's name), and the next line has the word "Date" followed by a space, followed by a date in adjusted short format (e.g. 2007/05/07).

How can a "grep" / "search" for both lines. I can do either one; but not both.
