I have a remote user who connects via a VPN tunnel to our main facility.
The user is reporting that he can search his local computer for files without issue, but he cannot search Network drives across the VPN connection.

Does anyone have an idea as to why this might be happening?
Thanks for the help.

I can't imagine why he couldn't. I suppose the greater question is: how is he searching. If the drive is mapped like any other mapped drive, he should be able to search it using the normal windows search tool. Perhaps he is only searching 'local drives'?

Just to see, tell him to give the free program, SearchMyFiles, a try. That's better than any Windows built-in search I've ever tried anyway, and it seems to work well with networked drives, where some free search programs do not - at least not in my experience.
