Hello Experts,
i can't able to share the mounted additional-hdd via the samba share.
from cli:
create share mm /dev/sdb/partition1

Path "/dev/sdb/partition1" contains system files and is not permitted to be shared.

is there any way/solution to share this partition? i want to pick up some recorded calls from the MM call storage path from Windows.

IPOSE Select R11.04

Thank you in advance

You should share the mount path and not the device, although I wouldn't mess with that.
You can just get them with SCP.

Are you sure Samba is running? Are you even sure it is there? - I've seen some Avaya security warnings around the presence of the Samba component in the OS and an intention to remove it.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thank you guys, it's working.
from the cli i could't mount the additional hdd because the special characters -# not allowwed from the cli for a mount point, but after i modified the samba smb.conf with the share (mount moint instead of the device --Thanks janni78), and the share is working now :)
smb.conf:

[global]
