I want to add a SCSI hard Drive to my existing Dell L800r system. I only will do this because I have been given a Fujitsu MAN3184MP drive and would like to slave it. Are there any issues I should look at for doing this installation. Thanks in advance for any advice. I have 128 MBRAM running Win2kPro

Just buy a GOOD SCSI card....... Adaptec.
(This is kind of a waste for a slave drive unless your doing video editing).

*** IF you can afford the ADAPTEC SCSI card buy some more RAM. Your system needs it.

Personally...... after looking at the specs of your computer, and it showing an OLD SLOW hard drive, a 5400 RPM hard drive, I'm convinced that your crazy not to incorporate this 10,000 RPM SCSI as your main hard drive and use the old slow hard drive as your storage.

You still need more RAM :)

Thanks for the advice. I will look into the scsi card for sure and certainly more RAM
