Scrolling through module coding with mouse wheel

I used to be able to scroll through module coding using my mouse's wheel. My hard drive crashed and I had to reinstall everything onto a new hard drive. Now I can't scroll through module coding using the mouse's wheel anymore. I can scroll everything else in Access (the lists of objects within the Database Window, choices on a combo-box, etc.).

Is there a registry entry or something that makes this possible? I forget if I did something on my old hard drive.

Thanks in advance!

In your case, you are probably using a non-Microsoft wheeliemouse. Install the specific drivers for your mouse and you should be up and running again.

As for me and Access 97, no luck so far. I love the wheelie mouse and use it extensively, so if anyone has a decent solution, let me know. I'm using a Logitech trackball wheeliemouse that works everywhere *except* the Access 97 code window.

You're right. I'm using a Logitech mouse as well. However, it's the same mouse that I was using BEFORE the hard disk crash when it was working. You must be right about the drivers. Thanks!

Did you guys find a solution ?
I have the same problem with a Logitech Opti Wheel.
Everywhere except in a module of Access 97 ?!?

thanks

I've read somewhere that it works with Microsoft Intellimouse drivers even with a Logitech mouse but I haven't try it yet...

I can't try the Microsoft Drivers, I have an error message when I try to unistall my old mouseware drivers :

"Logiinst caused a general protection fault in module logilg16.dll at 000:20FF".

I'm running on Windows NT.

Anyway, how can I manually remove my mouse drivers so I can install new ones...

Any Hints ?
