Hi,

Is there any way to make excel scroll horizontally by using the roller-ball on a mouse?

I wasn't sure if this was a VBA affair or not - I'm posting this same thread in the VBA (Microsoft) forum as well..

Cheers,

Usually depends on your mouse. Most modern mice that have a scroll wheel will allow you to press the scroll wheel down like a button, which will in turn bring up a 4 headed arrow on the screen. Move your mouse in the direction of any of the arrow and Excel will scroll in that direction. If you move it just a little bit it will scroll very slowly and then increase speed the further you move it.

Regards
Ken...........

You can also hold your mouse cursor over the horizontal scroll bar and then roll your mouse wheel. If this doesn't cause your spreadsheet to scroll sideways, be sure that you have a full install of your IntelliMouse software!
