sad git that I am I'm on th eforum while hosting a partee (hiccup!). I'll e-mail the fla to you asap and hae a look at the link. Ehhh, I haven't seen the other one yet but I'm checking my server for another gallery which may be like the one you r on about.

monsieur Dave will probably have better, more understandable explanations than me, but I'll give it a shot. To me, your evian thing just looks like simple tweening. Each blade on a separate layer, each doing its own thing. Some of them doing position tweening, some of them doing shape tweening. Then, you loop the whole thing.
What do you think monsieur Dave?
