Scripts for Inserting Shortcut & Loading New Front End

I'd really like to be able to send an email with a link to a script file that loads itself on user PC (in NT environment). This would load a script/shortcut that would check for a new front end (date tag on file name would be different) and copy it over top of existing PC front end whenever user connects to Access with the shortcut.

This would be so useful and it's beyond my grasp at the moment--does anyone have experience with this or similar tools?
