Script to modify the Receiving Report

In our Windows BABr11.1 backup server, the receiving report is generated daily into C:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve Backup\Log

The receiving report generated is in the form of
Receiving[2005-05-20].log

Does anyone know of any script that could first duplicate or copy this file into another directory, and then rename it to just Receiving.log ?

how about an ARCserve copy job.

Unless you need to keep each of the logs just have it overwrite the old one.

I couldn't find any info about 'ARCserve copy job' after searching through the Admin Guide for the BAB r11.1 for Windows. Is there another name for it?

manager / utilities / copy
it will copy but not rename it.

If thats not good enough then you will have to write your own script or batch file. Either of which can be run as a post command.
