I am a new system administrator and for one of my servers I am trying to make a script to run in the background. If idle time goes over 2 minutes, without the mouse moving or keystrokes the webpage will go back to my homescreen(if the browser is open), and the temporary internet files will be deleted. I don't have that much knowledge on the process of setting that up. It's for our application process for our kiosks...

I am not even sure this can be written.

Oh, it can be written - just not in VBscript, I suspect. For example here's one way of doing it in VB6: thread222-933476

Yeah, I know you can do it in Java Script, but I don't think that you can go from Java not detecting activity, to trigger the VBScript to delete history after returning to the home page. I am fresh out of college and have no experience with this stuff. Just a project the other system administrators put off on me.

Geates,
Now I feel completely Illitterate. So get the interpreter and and do what? I am so unfamilliar with VBS. Can you elaborate or walk me through the steps?

Wow... Never mind. I am so dumb. I was still talking about the first thing. Long day at work.
