Well, I knew it would be a matter of time before upper management asks about putting our company logo as the screensaver on the new 9630's. I do not see any parameters in the settings file and can't find anything in the user guide. Any suggestion before I call Avaya?

From the user guide:

Avaya one-X™ Deskphone Edition for 9600 Series IP Telephones

After a configured period of inactivity, the telephone displays a screen saver. The default
period is four hours. The screen saver is currently not customizable.

Thanks.... didn't see that doc but have it now for the upper management team.... I'm hoping they'll ask for mp3 ringtones next :)

Give it time....all of that stuff will be customizable.

Wrong ... it can be set up.
It's like for the 46xx, in the 46xxsettings.txt file, you can manage it with argument baklightoff.

You can certainly turn the back light off. But according to the documention (and there is alot) you can't customize the screen saver; similar to windows marquee for example...

Thanks,
CJH

Let me have a look in the code this afternoon and I let you know if the logo in include in the firmware or not

Hi dherve, just wondering if you have had time to look at the code. I'm thinking it's not possible and perhaps Avaya overlooked this.

Thanks!
