I have successfully enabled a corporate screensaver to the whole company via Group Policies (Windows 2000 Pro desktops, Windows 2000 server). I have enabled 'Activate screen saver'; 'screen saver executable name'; 'password protect the screen saver' and 'screen saver timeout' in the policy. I have entered the time of 2700 secs for the timeout. However, for a few users the screensaver is kicking in every 1 minute. On those desktops with this problem, I have gone to the Display Properties and the setting says 1 minute. I can change this value and commit it, but after I've gone back to it again, that value resets back to 1 minute. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

I remember having problems with this also. I got rid of the screen saver executable requirement. Turn it off and give it a try. If you have to keep it on:

1)what path did you use for the screen saver? unc or local
2)if you used a local path is the screen saver physically located on those machines and if you used a unc path can those users access the machine were the screen saver is located
3)for some reason are the users/computers not included in the policy or superceded by another policy.
