screen card problem..

Hi!
I have a copmuter that when you turn it on
it beeps twice,start working, and get stuck, but the problem is that there is no signal to the screen (that what appears on the screen).
I checked all the cables and everything was fine, then I took a screen card from another computer and still it didnt work, but when I returned the screen card to the other computer , the other computer did the same!

any suggestions?????

if it beeps twice that usally means that there was an error during the POST test. Check your mobo manual for what this means.

It is possible that your motherboard is messing up the video cards...If your computer beeps more than once when you start...then there is a problem. If you have a spare video card, one that you would not mind messing up...I would try it in a different slot...but it sounds as though your mobo is messing up video cards.
