scrap wire prices

How much are you getting for scrap wire in your area?
I Just finished a project with 410 cat 6 cables. we didnt have very much scrap. Only the cables that went from floor above to terminate in closet below. (not my design)haha
Ive got maybe two garbage cans full. the scrap yard shut down before i was able to ask locally

I think it will vary around the country. i think boston was around .75 per pound. It also up and down everyday.

I just called 3 places here in detroit area. .50c to .80c per pound.
