Lost "Advanced Server Shares" some time ago for no apparent reason. I discovered it when I tried to add a new user to Advanced Server. Any ideas?

Thanks!

great idea, but that wasn't it. i believe some settings got clobbered and i'm not sure about the reliability of the disk system. to make matters worse, when i try to launch backup mgr from xwindows, the box opens, then shuts right away. i've done a reinstall of the software from cd to no avail. right now all is o.k since users can access their files. i just can't make any changes. that's o.k. because i've been given the go-ahead to buy a new dell server and transition to nt4 or win2000. so, my days of fumbling in the sco-unix world are numbered.

thanks lots!
