I've seen about 2 or 3 posts where someone is referring to "SCNR" as a key.

I know of SCR and SCN - but even the book update released last week has no reference to a key called SCNR.

Is this a new way to refer to both arrangements using an acronym that does not really exist? Or is it a typo made over and over?

Or is there a new key with that mnemonic?

Thanks - it appears there is a common denominator responsible for 2 of the 3 SCNR references.

Maybe they are also responsible for the word "Electronical"

My appologies for the scnr reference. I am paying closer attention to the acronyms that I use. I do wish to thank everyone who has provided direct response, specifically ghtrout and johnpoole, and for all the posts that provided answers to other questions I had.

However, I cannot claim "Electronical"

nt-id10t cards cause the most problems.. when i see scnr, i hope the person means scn or scr.. but i do agree, the one thing nortel needs is a few more acronyms.

I did mean scn.

Occasionally, I have a power sag and my nt-id10t card gets enabled. Usually I can disable it before it causes damage.

I hope to get some training soon, as learning nortel on-the-fly can be very frustrating, time consuming and sometimes humorous.

Thanks again everyone. Keep me on my toes.

Nortel is like learning a new language, thank goodness there are many proficient translators on this site. We thank you for your assistance.
