scn between 406 and 500

will an scn work between a 406 on v3.2 and a 500 on v5

Yes, with proper licenses for SCN. However, it would be best to upgrade your 406 to at least 4.2 if your 406 is a v2 with enough memory.

It is not supported !
Max 1 major release in between so the 3,2 system must be on 4.x

Be aware that your SCN has the functionality of the lowest version !!!

If you cannot upgrade the 406 to V5 then untick "voice networking" and call over a normal H323 IP trunk so no license needed but you don't get the features from SCN.

Bas for the ip500 you still need a networking license !
Even for Qsig you do need it
