Dear all,
Would please give me a hand?
I would like to know if SCN feature is capable to handle advance call routing between its network ?

A - B - C

When the call falls into the IPoffice(A) and there was not any Available Agent to take a call , The SCN automatically route the call to the Free Agent which is located in the Another Branches e.g. IPoffice(B) or IPoffice(C) as well.

All the Best,

Get Advanced Networking Licenses. this will let you see groups from other IPO's in the ASCN and add users into groups from other systems.

How about distributed VMpro located at each sites in ASCN Scenario?

I need to have each branches have their own VMpro for local call handling.

Please Advice,

Unsupported configuration...

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

MomoVoip, as matt says Avaya will not support that configuration, however I have done it several times and it works no problem as long as users don't hotdesk between sites. Your choice.

Dear Amriddle,

Would you Please let me know your tips for implementation in details?

All the Best,

There isn't anything too it really, just set up each site as you normally would with VM etc, then setup your SCN links between sites and then create a Huntgroup and you will see that you can add the other sites users and also overflow to other sites huntgroups if you want to do it that way.

Also perhaps worth mentioning that one vmpro can be used for several sites in an SCN. I'm not an expert so take there maybe limitations you need to check but you might not need a VM pro at each site.

Any reason in a 2 Site SCS Config, with VM Pro On Each Site, on one site VM Pro Service is stopping since the Advanced NEtworking Licenses was added and SCN Enabled?

Does SCN have problem by running VMpro for each sites?
Do They(VMpro) directly Talk to each other?

Momo.

I don't understand why people want VM Pro at each location. It means spending far more on licensing and hardware. What advantage does it have (apart from redundancy)??

VM Pro gets it's information from it's local VM Pro for mailboxes. In SCN, IPO's pass configs between each other. It is in theory possible to end up with your mailbox created on each of the VM's in the network.

Basically, if a customer wants SCN and VM, I will put VM on the biggest site.

The reason is that i have 3 E1 PRI at each sites which are three too, so the callers must be queued and also interact with DB query, i would not like to miss any calls , all the incoming calls must answer or Music on Hold.

Momo.

VM of course not only for VoiceMail , i need to welcome to the caller by Auto Attendant and Queuing Announcements and DB Queries.

Momo.

You can in theory end up with two mailboxes, I never have and even if you did as names need to be unique and your own VM always goes to the address in your local system it would not cause an issue unless as I said people hotdesk around systems. Avaya will not support it, but even they (their techs) will tell you it works. :)

Given that this could cause problems and Avaya won't touch it, what is the big advantage of doing it??? What does this configuration do that Centalised VM doesn't?

Dear jamie,

So you think there is no problem using centralized VMpro and handling the calls which come from 9 E1 totally?

Thank you
Momo,

It does not matter
You only need to have enough ports
And of course enough bandwidth !!!
