Scheduling tasks while logged off 1

I've set up several scheduled tasks (MSAccess) that run overnight on my local machine. I've been staying logged in, so that when I check in the morning, I can see if they ran OK.

We've been having some issues with the server disconnecting, therefore the Access reports will fail because our s: drive is disconnected. Since the Access database is open on my screen when I get in to work in the morning, I can clearly see what the problem is and fix it.

However, the boss wants us to log off each night. When I log back in the next morning, I can see that the scheduled task is still running, but Access is not open & I can't see what the problem is. I have the tasks set up to wake the computer to run this task.

I don't know if this is possible, or if I just shouldn't log off at night.

Thanks,
Connie

vandaliarental,
rather than logoff why not lock the machine? your drive mappings should then remain. the only issue i could see is if you are using 'send keys' anywhere.
