How can I schedule a procedure in an access database? [sig][/sig]

If you have a system that runs 24/7, then you can use the timer event to check what time it is on certain intervals (every ?? minutes 5,15,30,60, etc). If the time (time() function) is greated than the time you are testing, then do whatever it is you are going to do. Let us know if you need an example.

If you want to launch Access, then you need a scheduling program. Launchpad is a solid scheduler, that is affordable ($29.95). You can get a free 30 day trial version at this website: [sig]<p>Jim Lunde<br><a href=mailto:compugeeks@hotmail.com>compugeeks@hotmail.com</a><br><a href= Application Development[/sig]

You also need to CAREFULLY condsider the placement of any timer events in Ms. Access. If you have a multiuser system, the timer event needs to be in the appropiate part (front/back end). Having a tmer event &quot;fire off&quot; from twenty (or seventy or ...) seperate users is NOT a pleasnt experience!!
