Hi,

I'm trying to create a "scheduled task" in XP that opens a specific Excel workbook (C:\Data\test.xls) each Monday. Can anyone tell me how to do that? I've managed to create a scheduled task that opens up Excel, but I cannot create the task in a way that it automaticly opens up the workbook.

I tried something like this (Run-line):
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Excel\Excel.exe "C:\Data\test.xls"

But this opens up just Excel, not the workbook. Any idea's?

Thanks in advance for your help!

No need for the reference to excel.exe, just put the path to the file in your Scheduled Task. This worked for me.
