Scheduled Task "Job could not Start" Error

I have a number of scheduled tasks running on a Windows 2000 server. The .BAT files run OK but when run from the Task Scheduler the error "Job could not start" is produced. Going into the job's properties and resetting the user password seems to fix the problem and they run OK from the run command, but when the scheduled time is reached they again fail to run with the "Job could not start error".

Has anybody else found a similar problem and do you know how to fix it.

Personally I never use the inbuilt scheduler.
Try system scheduler from
