Scheduled job not being saved

When I create a job and schedule it, it runs the first time then deletes the job.

Ok silly question, you did set it to repeat or run as part of custom rotation ? If not, jobs that are done disappear from the job queue after 24 hours - you can configure this in Server Admin.

Are you running SP5? Long shot, but if not might be worth patching it.
SP5 is build 1110.

No SP5 not installed (build 1100).

Although the job was working fine until last week and then this started, no changes made to the server??

Reinstall Arcserve and patch to SP5 - it sounds like one of those odditys that CA have no answer for
