How do I schedule an Access 2000 database to run automatically once a day at a specific time? Is this scheduling done withon Access or do I set it up as a scheduled task in Windows?

This database is doing nothing other than running some vb code in macro that copies data from one database to another. Thanks.

If memory serves you should be able to schedule it to run through Windows task scheduler. You'll need to tell access to run the macro automatically on startup, and lower all the security options that restrict macros. You'll also need to make sure that the Macro closes the database when done.

If that doesn't answer your question, you might want to post it in forum669. That might be a better place for it.
