Hi,

Running SC 3.0 sp5

We are experiencing very very low performance, and I have been investigating all possibilites. In the system status screen, under "System Monitor", I have discovered the following:

DEVICE NAME: SYSTEM
APPLICATION: Schedular
NAME: AGENT
CPU%: 23%

This seems extremely high!

Can anyone explain to me what this AGENT is, and is it required? I'm sure that by "Killing" the process, I will release CPU time and thus increase the performance.

If this has nothing to do with the performance...any suggestions

regards

check you agents ... possible the oob agents are still running .... in other case, check the queries... use the parameter debugdbquery:999 and than check the log file ( there is a tool from available )for non keyed queries
