SCH1206 XMWK 1

Can you assign XMWK for the extension not ringing and appearing on the phone? I tried but I'm getting sch1206. I don't wan't to assign the actual extension on the phone but I would like to have the message waiting indicator light.

You need the DN, but you don't need to tell anyone it is there. If it's a 2616, for example, you can put it on KEY 16 (need AOM 1, but not the actual hardware). It can also be an SCN.

If the DN is a Phantom or ACD today, you'll need to set the MW DN to another DN - but that'll have to be on the phone as well.
