ScanShare is a scan server (like a print server) that allows you to use a scanner over a network (or Citrix, in this case).
I'm trying to install the hardware, but certain changes to the registry need to be made on the Citrix server. I've been on the phone tech support from the company that makes my application, but they don't know too much about ScanShare yet.
Is there anyone out there who is using ScanShare and can tell me a little bit more about configuring it to work with Citrix MetaFrame XP? I should mention that our Citrix box is seperate from our database/application server, but the Citrix server DOES have a client version of our application installed. This might be the reason why the techs can't help me with the registry settings (apparently the client application doesn't have the same registry settings that the main application does).
Anyone, with anything to add...no matter how small...please let me know. I hope there isn't anything I left out.
