I can't get Windows to install the Scanner. The SCSI card has installed alright and is configured, both in Windows and through its config utility that you have to use via a boot disk (set to IRQ 10 and IO Address 340h). No other devices are conflicting with it.

I've looked all over the internet for the scanner drivers. So far, I've downloaded three versions of what are supposed to be drivers but just look like the scanning program which comes with it (unless the drivers are bundled in...?)

The only other thing to note is a problem I had with it on a previous computer. The other one was running NT4 SP6a and had a problem when the Ethernet card was enabled. For some reason, the SCSI card would not work when the onboard 3COM ethernet card was enabled. In the end I had to put it on Token Ring...

However, disabling this computer's onboard 3COM ethernet hasn't resolved the problem. I can't look at any settings on the previous computer because its hard disk died.

Any help appreciated.

Thats one I've already got...so I'm starting to think it might be a problem with the SCSI card. I've now moved it to IRQ9 and IO Address 140h because for some reason the onboard graphics have taken IRQ10.

In the SCSISelect utility its also set to IRQ9 but you can't set it IO address in there. The only other change I made was to make its SCSI ID 6 instead of 7. The reason I did this is because when you launch the scanner software, it says it can't find it and brings up some SCSI Check utility. On that, it only has SCSI IDs 0-6 listed which is why I thought it might not have been able to find it. However, changing this to 6 hasn't helped.

The manual isn't much help either...
