After creating a very long Quark doc in 8.5 x 11, come to find out it has to be submitted at 8.25 x 10.125.

Is there a way (or an xtension) that will allow me to reduce the doc sizing, and scale the entire doc down automatically? Or maybe a good way to scale it to the desired size via 'print to pdf'? I've not had much luck with print to pdf, making custom page sizes, doing a 90% reduce and all that.

Any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated!!

I use an extension called QX-Tools. Very handy to scale things (eg Text frames and Picture Boxes at the same time) and also do complex find and replaces.

If you want to reduce the document by a percentage then print to a postscipt file...your document needs to be reduced by 92% in hight, and 97% in width. I would do as 92%, that way you will fit everything in.

Thanks for the reply, Marcus! The thing with that is that I'll have blank space on the sides if I do a mass reduce to 92%. I may be able to make it work though, with some extra editing work.

This is a tough one.
