I am hoping someone in this forumn might have an idea on this one. I am trying to use recordsets in Office Web Components to push out graphs to my asp pages. Problem seems to be that there is no auto-scaling going on for my date's in the x-axis. As a result I just get a large black mass at the bottom of my graphs. From the piles of example code from google and MS I have found virtually no examples of how this can be delt with. I am starting to think OWC is treating my dates as test strings, not date stamps. It would explain why I can not get them to auto-scale at least.

Has anyone had to deal with this problem before? Or, at least have an idea how I might go about forcing the axis into date format?

Does anyone at least have an idea how to force data type for a column in OWC charts?

Have you tried and search on "ocw chart"???

Skip,

You might not come FORTH on the FIFTH! [tongue]

SkipVought I have probably spent a good 4-5 hours on the microsoft site alone. I have also gone through the help files on OWC10 and dug through numerous examples from various online sources. I have yet to find where anyone is autoscaling dates.

I am fairly sure that I need to set the NumberFormat property but so far everything I have tried just results in an "Invalid Parameter". Curreny, Percent, and Numbers match formatting with Excel for scaling but darn if I can get dates to.
